We do seem to be running low on hints lately.... Our Motorhome has a carpet like covering on the walls and ceiling. Velcro sticks to it easily. I have made several little fabric pockets that stick to the walls in handy places. One holds pens and pencils always handy, one holds my ear plugs that can be reached without getting out of bed. I'm sure double faced tape would serve the same purpose on hard surfaced walls.
