I have never done this to my TT but I have used it a fair amount on surfboards that get dings/damaged. You can buy it at a surf shop but it is called Sun Cure. It can be ordered from amazon.com and is better than mixing resin/hardener as that can be runny. The Sun Cure is more like a toothpaste consistency and easier to keep in place until it hardens. Then just sand it down, easy as that. This is a perfect fiberglass bond.
