Got a problem with clothes/hangers falling from closet pole while moving? Measure circumference of the pole, add 1/2", cut length of cushy foam liner to length and (added) circumference, wrap it lengthwise around the pole and secure with a strip of duck tape. The hangers and clothes will not be in a heap on the floor when you arrive at your destination. About every 2 years, replace the duck tape as it will loosen with heat and time. VOILA'!.
Have a L/R slide but still not enough kitchen counter space in your RV? I bought a wooden, folding, rolling serving cart at Target online and solved this problem. The cart is 34" high on the rollers, 17.5 inches deep and 33.5 inches wide with a solid wood top and 2 slatted shelves under. It folds to 4" deep and fits under the bed while traveling. I can use it as an island between the kitchen counter and the dinette (which is in the L/R slide) or against the wall that is exposed when the L/R slide is extended. I can stack pots and pans, sodas, cutting boards, colanders, whatever on the shelves and use the top for prep work/catchall/whatever. The best $125 I ever spent on MH things. Requires some assembly - easy though.
Cold mattress/bed? Get some plush faux fur fabric and put it under the fitted sheet. Toasty warm all night and can be cut for just one side if your partner does not need it.
When I figure out how to re-do the bedroom closet/drawers/dirty laundry issues, I will let you know. So far, my ideas haven't worked, but I am still thinking. Why does dirty laundry take up so much more room than clean? LOL Yeah, I know - but I am not folding dirty laundry.
