In my family, that is called the "poop hat". We regularly go up to a friend's cabin in Vermont - rustic, no power, gravity fed spring well. Yes, it has an outhouse! At night it is VERY dark, so I always bring a cap with one of those small cap lights clipped to it. Very convenient, and it has gotten to the point that we always bring it along on trips now. And my friend who owns the cabin even bought one, after of course making fun of me.
Actually, when I think about it, we have about half a dozen of similar cap lights in the house and vehicles. There are all about the same, below is an example:
