HELP! Black tank spill inside

Two days ago I overflowed the toilet on my small black water tank on the second flush of the tank. Water was mostly clean but still black water. I cleaned and sanitized everything I could see.

I took off a panel in the kitchen wall and have noticed moisture under the plastic sheeting that is behind the toilet and under the kitchen area.

How do I get to the rest of the moisture to clean.

The motor home was not level so the flow went from the middle located toilet through the kitchen area then out the drivers side front. Only two basement areas has moisture.

Help help help. New 2018 Winnebago.

I had a similar "Accident" a few months ago ( http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/30103318/gotomsg/30119506.cfm#30119506 ) Four months later, it seems as though efforts to clean up at the time were successful. I moved everything out, mopped & dried everything accessable, desmantled and dried eveything else, opened every door and window, kicked on the roof fans, and placed fans everywhere possible along the floor. All while having to listen to the other half.

Today; No Mold, No Smell, No Soft Spots in the walls or floors. I got lucky!

Lesson learned: when flushing the BWT, STAY WITH IT! I let myself get distracted with preparations for moving...BAD IDEA!

Been there, done that! You are not alone lol. Sounds like you have the proper measures in place to dry things out. Once dry Iโ€™d clorox spray the areas you can and give a final wipe down. Shouldnโ€™t be much of a hazard for the areas you canโ€™t reach and clean. Itโ€™s just poo.

it's just a little poo. Other than initial smell there should not be a lot of contamination unless the tank had been full for a long time. There could be bad bacteria, but that would come from a gross tank not from your colon.
Once it dries then anything that lived in it will die also.
It sounds gross, but will not be a health hazard. Some disinfectant will not be a bad idea to spray while it is still wet.

Air conditioner will remove moisture from the air and help dry things out too. I'd run the air with fans blowing.

Electric leaf blower to blow excess water from under the toilet and cabinet then the fans.

Thanks. I'm worried about toxins and my grandkids.

short of taking things apart the fan should do it. If you have carpet I would pull it up and clean under, or at least do some heavy repeated steam cleaning. You can rent steam cleaners at a u-haul or some grocery stores also.
You won't be able to get behind the walls, but as long as it dries out and stays dry that grossness should not be an issue in the dry future.

I tend to take things literally...Did you mean to say "DE-humidifiers?"

X2. The more fans the better. Open up walls, floors as best you can.

In addition to manually drying everything the best you can, I'd suggest using a high-velocity, squirrel cage fan to air out the moist areas as much as possible---especially the basement area.
