Homeless - safe to store propane/gas in car while sleeping?

There is a lot of justifiable skepticism when one comes across a post like this. Many trolls get their jollies by working this kind of thread with more and more outrageous posts until it gets totally out of hand.

Some people have honestly tried to help people who have posted like this only to find out that it was all a web of lies.

I think the original question has been answered pretty well and anything further just stirs the pot.
