We have a Phoenix Cruiser 2100 (a small B+) and recently the DW decided we need two anti-gravity chairs. Well as they say where I'm from, "there ain't no room". So the next option would be to hang them from the ladder. An option I'm not really fond of. First off I rather not have them exposed to the elements while traveling, we seem to travel a LOT in rain lately. Secondly, I feel it is unsightly to use on such a nice looking RV and would use this as my last resort. Also, is theft an issue? I don't want a padlock and chains dangling from chairs as we travel.Now that I've offended everyone out there. What are my options/solutions?

Theft? No, unless you park in Compton or eq, and then the chair might be the only thing left.

If you leave the chair out in the weather, it will look terrible. No one will steal it.

I’m with the OP on hanging stuff off the ladder. We have two of that type of chairs, and they are the extra wide ones. I carry them in one of two places. In the toad when we take it, or on the queen bed when we don’t take the toad. If I had to carry them on the ladder, I would cover them with black plastic, perhaps a leaf bag to protect them from the elements. I really would not worry too much about theft.I’m also onboard with the “No Room” comment but the DW doesn’t feel the same way. Seems I usually lose that discussion.

I hung beach items from our ladder (fifth wheel) for 2 years of fulltime travel. It was unsightly and rough on the items.

Pictures for my reference- securing a beach cart, beach chair, boogie board, and ladder to my ladder.

I later added another smaller boogie board.

I hang chairs from my ladder with no problems. I too own a PC. Just do it and forget about it.

I don't have a ladder, but when traveling, I see a lot of RV's, of all sorts, with stuff hanging from their ladders. It's a sure-fire way to figure out if they are truly RV owners, camping, and going somewhere; or RV transporters. RV transporters won't have stuff hanging there. So when I see one loaded to the gills, I smile and know they are in their state of paradise traveling somewhere!

I like how you hung a ladder from the ladder and then hung a chair from the ladder hanging from the ladder. I think I really need to make better use of my ladder. I just use it for climbing on the roof. The possibilities are endless. Seriously - I was thinking of hanging a bike (bicycle) from it next trip out.
