We got our gigs by first staying in the park and finding out we like the park and the area. Then we went to the office to see if they had openings. We got 'hired' on the spot. Sometimes it helps for them to meet you in person. Good luck!

do a google search "work for rvers and campers, campground jobs, etc. You should find many sites available with jobs listed and most are free. There are also volunteer positions in forestry areas, corp of engineer parks, fish & wildlife , national parks etc. for that you need www.volunteer.gov. You usually receive your site and utilities free in exchange for specified hours. Some require more work than other, but there are many different interesting duties.

We find most of our positions on workampingjobs.com, which is a free site. You just have to create an account to view everything. You can create your resume, select any of the states where you prefer to volunteer/workamp, whether you prefer pay or just a free site. Good Sam has a few listed, there is also US Army COE, that lists volunteer positions that are available. I am sure that there are others, but these are the ones that we use. Good luck and may you have many safe and happy travels in your future.
