Did you notice they were traveling along the highway near Nimrod. Definition: A slow witted person. How appropriate!!

Could be she was pressed into duty with her fellow helping push. No power brakes without a motor running and probably not familiar enough with the emergency brake to hit it when things went sour.

The person who said "And a DUI" hit on the way to wreck a motor home. A car. A bicycle, and quite a few lives.. Epically your own.

After 25 years on the dispatch desk at the local State Police post/dispatch center (Depending on which year) I have a lot of stories about DUI's. Far too many of them ended with a funeral. (or 2 or 3 or 4)

But it would really suck if she just jumped into the drivers seat to assist with getting it off the road and really wasn't "driving" under the influence.
