That's a little trailer that would normally be about 3000lb...the battery pack is roughly the same as a tesla which runs about 1200lb...do now you have a 4200lb trailer that runs into issues with hitch weight, CGVW, braking, etc...so you have to upgrade to a more capable tow vehicle which wouldn't struggle with a 3000lb trailer in the first place. - GordonThreeExplorerDoes the EU operate on different laws of physics?
So what if the trailer helps push or whatever? Rarely is lack of power the reason a towing combination is unsafe. - TvovExplorer IIYes, interesting. A "powered" travel trailer... they are claiming you could safely tow a larger TT with a small vehicle, because the "felt" weight you are towing is reduced dramatically. Sounds iffy... what happens when the TT's battery dies during the trip? Suddenly you have a dangerously overloaded tow setup. "Tail wagging" could take on a whole new meaning when the tail has its' own power!
The idea of being able to move the TT AFTER it is disconnected seems like a great idea.
