metal Winnebago uses to line the compartments

Appears it’s aluminum foil, wth for the money these things cost zeeezzz
Anyway there are spots that look like corrosion has eaten thru it... this thing has never seen road salt or winter,,
The floor of the compartments have like thin wool indoor outdoor carpet on them
Under the carpet is mint..
I’m thinking about cleaning and caulking the holes on the side walls and using this same type carpet ???
