DH ALWAYS used a stiff bristle broom....... Are you living in the trailer during the snow? If not, you might try putting a tarp on the roof that lets you "flip" the snow off. If it's windy in your area that doesn't work well, but if the trailer is in a protected area (from wind), you might try it.
