Trapped 6 with good old fashioned spring mouse traps, all inside the RV. OK, lets hear what does and does not work for you.

Ive build my TC lower part from 3/4 inch plywood and made sure there arent any openings big enough to let anything in..got few ants in there while parked on the ground but mice dont have a chance..

Theres also cats roaming around at night so no mice anywhere..

I've seen people in campgrounds put some around the tires, stabilizer jacks, water hoses, satellite cables and electric cord.

Thanks. I was hoping it somehow worked outside to keep them from coming inside.

DE really only works when it is kept dry- as such, I will put it around the threshold and door openings of the OH garage doors and on the inside of the man doors. I do not use it in the actual interior of the house... garage, shed, etc it seem to do OK, but because it is a powder-like substance it can be messy from occasional stepping on it or wind, etc.

How does DE work and where do you put it? Sounds messy. I have those tiny ants pop up occasionally when the cats puke by the front door.

My answer is the same regardless of the size or species of invaders.

Have used this device from Amazon for several months and no mice in the living portion. Will still get a stray in the basement storage on the electric trap. Worthwhile $25.00 investment. Three settings, lowerest I can't hear the noise in the trailer, middle I can just barely hear the chirp outside with the door closed and high I can hear it from 50' away with the door closed.

If you have pets and the rig is close to where the pets are they may get irritated by the noise. The unit emits a high pitched chirp. Needs 110VAC to operate.

This works for us, small glass bowls with cotton ball wicks, whenever the trailer sits for a week or more. One each in the garage, galley, bedroom, and two in the tunnel. The smell gets real strong after a few days in the closed trailer and I can see why the little buggers stay away from it. We also set a half dozen old-fashioned spring traps but have yet to catch a single mouse since using peppermint oil.

Here is a pic of it showing the wood shed at the rear and the trees around it. I'm standing on the roof of my house to take the pic.

And there is no brush or weeds under or around the trailer. It's very open. The mice have no where to conceal themselves from predators so they avoid the trailer. Mice want to stay hidden. They like brush and tall grass and barns. They are not prone to being in open areas.

We have a creek with a lot of brush and trees behind our lot. Lots of mice. In the shed, in the lawn and snow equipment. Our garage is attached and is about 60 feet from the back of the lot. We get mice in the garage. In the wall that adjoins the house.

We've parked our trailers next to the garage for almost 25 years. My dad's trailer is there also. We've never once had mice in them. And I believe it has to do with what I said above about having the trailer in a place that's open and makes them vulnerable.

Yeah, I see trailers parked in fields and even RV storage lots where it's all grass under and they must have rodents all over the place... Guess I've just been lucky.. Before I started putting out the traps/poison, I would be able to kill them with my pellet gun just sitting out on my back porch.. While that was "fun", it was not efficient...
