- Hank85713ExplorerWhen we bought our tow car I got the stuff from camping world (about $100 or so more than off internet) and paid $29 for install (I think its $59 now). All work is guaranteed at any CW location. They also installed the lighting system for $29. Dont know if you have a CW near you but that is what I would recommend. I could have installed my self, but that would have been several part time days of work. They did in 1.5 days. Also a local shop would have charged $75-125/hr with about a 3-4 hr install so the CW deal was much easier and the difference in part costs became inconsequential to me.
You asked and this is my recommendation to you. - bshpilotExploreri installed my own - wasn't a difficult job at all. I picked up our blue ox aventa (aluminum) tow bar & base plates off of craigs list for less than 300 bucks (1200+ new)...installed the base plates myself !
- mdaExplorerThere are CW's in Chichester and N. Conway, New Hampshire.
- MRUSAExplorerI got a quote from CW in Conway NH. Thanks for the suggestion.
