Since there is not much difference in weight between these vehicles and the toad will not be a daily driver, I will be going with a 4 dr Wrangler.
Funny you would pick the Wrangler over a Cherokee as a daily driver. IMO the Cherokee would have a better ride and better fuel mileage. But not having driven both vehicles that is pure conjecture.
