Hi Bryan and Welcome to the forum !!!
There are tons and tons of advice on the various dials/knobs adjusting any of today's WD Hitch systems. My advice is to understand the goal of it all and then step back to take a bigger picture vision of what you have, in order to see where you need to go with the various dials/knobs/etc...
Goal is to transfer enough weight back to the TV's front axle as per your TV OEM's instructions. In the old days, just dropping the TV evenly was the rule of thumb...but today's OEMs have added many new factors. Like the suspension types and methods of transfer, etc to make that old rule of thumb obsolete (though on my 21 year old Sub, it is what I do)
And...
Then read up on how all of these dials/knobs/adjustments/etc work and affect/effect the setup
Ask tons of questions, post pics, etc
Anything, or most anything can be moved and re-welded. Even lifted enough to both get out of the way and leave room for the swing of whatever
Also, know that what works for one...does NOT mean it is a one size fits all metric... Just know what it is supposed to do and if it applies to 'you'...have seen newbies are going in circles following some of the various advice thinking it is a one size fits all thing...the basis for commenting that it is the goal that you need to know before trying all of the dials/knobs/adjustments/etc...

And...
- First, weigh your TV, ready to go RV'ing
- Get your trailer's actual weight, both total and tongue
- You need that actual tongue weight to purchase the proper WD Bars
- Gather your TV ratings: GVWR, front/rear GAWR, GCWR
- Do the simple math with these actual weights vs your TV's ratings
- If out of spec/ratings...decide if you believe in your OEM's ratings or not...to then decide where to go from there
- Get the TV front to whatever your OEM says to do
- Get your trailer tongue's actual weight into a 12%-15% range
- Trailer tongue level at its highest pointing to pointing slightly down (my preference)
