No word from Good Sam's - Maybe you can help

Hi Folks,

On two different occasions I sent via Good Sam Finance Center clicking on "Contact Us" and received no response. So I thought I would ask my questions my questions here. Yes I studded thanks for pointing that out...:D

1. When Good Sam Finance Center provides a pre-approval, how long is the approval good for?
2. Good Sam Finance Center has two difference interest rates. One for part-timers and one for full-timers. What happens if a loan is given for part-time and later goes full-time?
3. What happens if a loan is given for full-time and later goes part-time?

I have no idea why Good Sam Finance Center has not contacted me, I'm basically a good guy, a little country maybe, but a good guy... Even my Mom says so! ๐Ÿ˜‰ OK so she only said it once!

Thanks Fredzo, I didn't realize until today that the answer I got to my initial question wasn't answered by Good Sam but Essex. Now I understand... Thanks

Good Sam uses Essex, which is s subsidiary of Bank of the West.

I initially started out with Good Sam, did all the paperwork with Essex (fine folks!), and make payments to Bank of the West (also fine folks).

We set up auto pay about four months ago, and it works just fine.

Just wanted you to know that I received an email from Good Sam and my questions have been answered. As for calling them, I agree that is an option but Good Sam offers three contact options and any one of them should work.

And I didn't really place my question here for you good folks to answer. I place it here figuring Good Sam would see it and respond to me which is exactly what they did. So its all good!

Never did hear from Essex, I'll never understand poor customer service I just never will. Who is going to do business with a company that you know in advance doesn't service their customers.

Why not just pick up the phone and call the 1-800 number listed on that very same web page - 1-800-444-1476

Acually, I think the only RIGHT answer to your straight forward questions will have to come from the source its self...GOOD SAM and not the opinon of any forum member that is not a GOOD SAM loan officer. Sorry.

Hy guys and thanks for your posts,

I still don't have an answer! If you look at my questions on the first post they are very straight forward questions and can certainly be answered on the open forum.

I also think it was great for Robyn to jump in as she did, good for her and everyone who's desire to give good customer service and get involved.

So its all good and if I can get an answer I will be a happy boy and right here on the forum is great with me.

PS. I;ve posed these same questions to Essex Credit, another company I understand does a lot of motorhome financing and have had no communication from them either... Maybe the finance folks just don't like talking. ๐Ÿ˜„

Not responding is not just a Good Sam problem. Not to steal the thread but over the last 2 weeks I have done as requested by acouple of different companies on the "CONTACT US" button and only 1 has responded and that took 6 days. Customer service any more is not...

Folks, we have never has a Good Sam or any company affiliate misrepresented by someone else. The forum moderators and management watch that very closely. However, should anyone ever have questions concerning this please sand any of us moderators or forum Admin. a PM and we will respond in a very timely manner.

I would assume the request for your contact information by a PM, is something other than a PMโ€ฆ
due to character limits a PM may not be a preferred or adequate means for addressing a issueโ€ฆ
