Oh my, getting old

I have traveled with various motor homes from the West to the East, Alaska, and the far East of Canada,
I Loved every minute of it and my wife also.
But now, my age and my wife's disabilities preclude me from this life style. 81 Yr. old.
My oh my, how I hate to realize, that its at and end.
From when we were married at 21 yr. old, tents to now.
Gotta let go my beautiful Winny Journey.
I almost cry, such it was my longing for a diesel pusher, and it has served me well for 12 years.
I know all has to come to an end sometime, but tears in my eyes as it has come to me.

I can relate. I'm a few years behind you, but starting to have thoughts similar to yours.
It's not easy to remain positive, even though it makes sense to keep trying.
I can begin to see where the phrase came from, "parting is such sweet sorrow".
I only hope that my wife beats me to it, since I can't stand the thought of her being alone.
People love to say that they have no regrets. But, I believe it's because they either might not want to share their regrets, or don't want to bore anybody with their story. Personally, I'm starting to regret having accumulated so much stuff. It's not easy getting rid of it.

As full time RVers, we all know that there is that time in our lives that it will come to an end. I guess all we can do is hope that we remember the memories we have of the fantastic years of travel and RVing. Good luck to you going forward....
