I just bought one of those oxygenic shower head for my tub in the rv and hooked it up and water came out of every thread.I got some of that white sealing tape for the treads and fixed it.It still sprays water out the back of the shower head where the hose enters the shower head.Anyone one had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

I have the oxygenics shower head too, but it turns cold really fast when I turn off with the slide button on the head. Never has stayed warm even though it does have a stream of water when off. Any suggestions?

One other possibility. The design allows for water to seep out after the water is turned off.....but the seeping should happen at the tap end not the head end....try turning your hose around! This seepage happens through the small holes that are designed to allow air to enter the hose when the shower is turned on.

i agree with others - this smells like a missing washer to me....i just installed one recently and the washer had fallen out inside the package....even if you cant find it in your packaging it's easily replaceable.

I have moved our Oxygenics shower head from 3 different trailers....just love how much water it saves!

Make sure the rubber gasket is in the handle, and wrap some plumbers tape around the threads. We also put on a on/off switch which allows us to shut off the water (to a drip) and conserve water even more!

concerning the spray out the back of the shower head, is this between the hose and screw down ring or between that ring and the shower head. sounds like a rubber washer is missing.

There should of been plumbers tape included with the packaging and that should of went on first. The way I read your posting is that you didn't put any on before hand. As far as it coming out the back, I guess take it back?

Ours worked as supposed to from the get go.

That's normal for Oxygenic. The water is supposed to drip 'slightly' in order to keep the temperature of the water without fluctuation when you turn it on and off during a shower as you would when boondocking. We postioned a container under the drip as a test and less than a cup of water was dripped during a shower - good enough for us as we boondock a lot.
It doesn't drip it sprays out the back instead of at the nozzle like it should. It is where the hose enters the shower head.Actually the hose seems to move freely in and out of the back of the shower head and when you turn the water on it sprays out around the hose.

Sounds like the small rubber washer like the one in your garden hose is missing. Check your packaging for this washer. It ylh do not have the washer to to HD and pick one up. Good luck.
