Putting the anode rod in the Atwood water heater will give you problems with not being able to get the thing out. Galvanic action will fuse the plug in place. Suburban needs the anode rod. Tanks in the 2 are made of different materials and need different care.

I am certainley not rich, but if I had to worry about ten dollars to continue my hobby , I would give it up. No offense meant, just saying.

Google local camping store or RV dealership in your town.
They keep plenty of them on the shelves at both places. Cost you the time to drive there and a few bucks. I just can't see why so many people want to order on line and pay shipping charges on top of overpriced RV parts when they are right in your back yard! :C
