Pennsylvania Speed Limit Increase to 70 MPH

The Pennsylvania Transportation bill will increase the speed limit on some highways to 70 MPH starting sometime next year. They've not identify which highways will see the increase or when the increase will take effect. They will have to do traffic studies first, which could take months.

I think we are also going to see an increase in gas prices, incrementally over the next few years as well, to pay for road and bridge construction.

Good way to raise revenue. Up the gas tax, then up the speed limit so people burn more. Genius.

The Penn Turnpike is about the most boring highway I have ever driven on! 80 or 90 would be better! Get it behind you!
