Have our 5er parked in a spot under a pine tree and noticed a significant amount of sap on one of the slides. Really don't want to drag through the seal before we leave next month. Suggestions for removal without damaging the rubber? Thanks.

hum... well things like white gas, WD40, pam, naptha all will do a good job of removing pine sap. HOWEVER, petroleum distilates, which all of the previous are except pam, are NOT a good thing to put on a EPDM roof. Don't know if pam will be an issue or not.

I used to park my car under a pine tree and got lots of sap drops on the top of the car. What I used to get rid of it was butter. Smear a bit of butter on each drop and then rub until it was gone. Then a good wash got rid of the butter that was left. Yeah, it was a bit of work, but worth it to me.

All of my standard "easy" ways involve things you shouldn't used on EDPMA mild detergent and a soft brush.

Isopropyl Alcohol works well. Daubing it on the spots works better than rubbing.

Skintastic mosquito repellant will even remove asphalt.

best i found is a ---ice cube--- hold it on for a bit will losen sap. worked on my epdm
