Removing the table part of a dinette is typically very simple and straightforward and non-invasive; likewise reinstalling it would be straightforward. Removing the benches is usually a bit more involved (and sometimes there are mechanical systems or outside storage compartments hidden in them, which can make removal more problematic).
If it's not a dinette but a separate table and chairs, I'd think removal just means carrying it out the door, possibly after removing the table legs. Putting it back for resale or whatever should be just as easy. If you aren't using it and have a better idea for the space, I don't see any reason at all not to proceed.
