Rip in Slide Boot how to Fix.

I have a 2002 gulfstream Seahawk and just opened up the slides for the first time this weekend to air out. When I closed the slide I noticed that there is a tear in the corner of the boot on the top of the slide. It looks like there is an aluminum piece of metal that the boot goes over and it ripped right on the corner. what is the best way to fix this issue the boot is only 2 years old and do not want to replace the whole thing.:S

Thanks.

That looks like a fabric cover "Slide topper" type thing, if that is the case, I'd sew it and coat the seam with fabric cement. (Read that I sewed it and coated the seam with fabric cement) Let dry (Extended) for a day before closing.
  • I am trying to figure out how to post pictures.
