I need to replace my dual roller Auto Motion shades. All three of them are dead and they only lasted about five years with little use. The physical shades and the fabric is OK but all the springs and stops are worn out or broken.
I can purchase internal repair parts from Auto Motion for $271.
I contacted Irvine and three of their new one's would cost me $345 plus shipping from AZ.
I had to get a distributor quote for Auto Motion new and they want $645 plus $75 shipping from IN.
Several other vendors have these as well and they appear to run a bit over $100 each. ALL these roller shades look exactly alike. I have a feeling there is just one manufacturer of the things and all these vendors are just purchasing them there for resale.
Pretty sure I'm not going to do business with Auto Motion now because of price and customer service.
My question is who has owned the Irvine dual motion shades and can speak to the quality of their product; good/bad?
