We bought an extended warrantee on our new travel trailer at a cost of over $3900.00. The company's name is Compass RV Coverage. The dealer (Broodmore Rv in Paasco, WA) told us that the policy would cover anything that could go wrong with the unit would be covered. Well, guess what?What is clearly written in the contract about axles being covered, doesn't mean squat. Why? Well, we must have abused the covered component during the usage of the trailer and that means the axles are not under warrantee.Our trailer has never seen even a dirt driveway and is towed with great care. The tires started showing wear after a bout with a freeway construction zone in Utah.Buyer Beware!!!!!! This is the second extended coverage we've purchased that has been a total waste of money because there is always a way out for the company.There is special place in my heart for companies like these and dealers that sell their products.

sorry, take your rv to a trailer shop. not the dealer. and I,d bet you won,t buy another warrenty, curious what could you have done to void the warrenty? I,d fight this one.

A shop said the springs were sagging. I replaced the springs and the warrantee covered it without any hassle. Company is PreserveRV.Good luck!

This is where an ' all hazards' clause could apply. The contract you entered into must have a n exempt clause to road hazard. Thats the exemption they are trying to imply. Fight it. No road hazard caused the failure. A bout with a sanctioned construction zone is not an unexpected road hazard,

I've never bought an extended warranty and hey I've never needed one. Guess what, I am way ahead.

As far as cheap tires and are the rims bent---
I'm kind type A. I check everything all the time. In the 7000 miles we've had this rig, I've probably checked lug nuts 20? times, TST tire monitor, check tires and hubs at each stop, etc.
The wheels are pretty heavy duty as are the Goodyear Endurance 10 ply tires. The suspension is the 3000 with wet bolts.
The tires started wearing on the rear axle about 1000-1200 miles ago. We encountered a construction zone, heavy traffic, and terrible road surfaces-hubcaps, plastic parts, vehicles pulled over, etc.
I couldn't hear what the shop manager was telling the warrantee company, but it was to the effect of bent axles.
Also, this trailer has axles that actually carry more weight then what the trailer weighs. A majority of other units only carry a portion of the weight, leaving the rest to hitch or pin weight.

sounds like your up on maintaining things, I,d still have a trailer shop check it out. hope things work out for you.get a written report.

Warranties typically cover defective parts or workmanship.

If there was a specific incident where you hit something, that would be covered under your auto insurance.

My o2 - once the extended warranty guys say "no" then it's' time to take it to an independent repair shop and get a written assessment of the issue.
