RV Swashes and Decals

I noticed on several forums that folks were looking for replacement decals and graphics for their RVs. I run a graphics shop and can recreate many of the RV graphics and decals. While I do not install them, I can produce replacements that are very close to the originals and send them to you to apply yourself.

Would any RVers be interested in this? I am trying to gauge whether it would be worth my time going into this area of graphics.

Send me an email if you have any damaged or worn graphics you would like to replace them yourself.

Thanks

Any local sign shop can cut new graphics for you and many will also install them as well.

Count me interested... My trailer is new - but it will need replacement sometime. I've wandered if a full wrap is affordable. When my trailer needs it I would think the wrap would freshen the entire exterior, maybe I'll create a landscape scene or something. It would be nice to know how expensive such a project would cost. Sure would beat waxing this thing every 6months. PM me with any prices. 🙂

For anyone who might be interested here's a link to a company that has all kinds of decals/graphics.
I've never dealt with them but came across the site a while back.

For me, if it wasn't such a pia to do it I'd strip all the graphics off the trailer and leave it plain white.

Yeah me too. Pulling this post would be a big disservice to most RVers. Forums are made for helping each other not big corporate profits.

Rockhillmanor:

Life has made you cynical.

Everyone is, not, out to get you.

There are honest folks out here who actually want to help others. I thought an affordable replacement decal service might be useful, because replacement decals are not widely available.

I accept your appology for your unmannerly accusation.

Very true but he qualified it by stating:

"Would any RVers be interested in this? I am trying to gauge whether it would be worth my time going into this area of graphics"

Look at it as market research and not marketing. 😉

IMHO I don't understand the absolute need to replace the "exact" same decal if yours have been discontinued. Only you and your MH know what design was on your RV in the first place! :B

If there is fading you can't buff out most of my friends just buy in stock decals slightly bigger or wider in design to cover it and put it on.

My local sign shop said if I had detailed photos and measurements of my swooshes, they could come close to originals. Since I had all ready removed mine that wouldn't work. I had made a trace of one of my swooshes, thinking they could copy it to their pc. They didn't have a copier that wide. I ended up buying the vinyl by the foot and cutting my own.

I did a lot of searching online for swoosh duplicates or someone to make them but didn't find to much. It might be a great opportunity for you.

There's a huge market for them.
I think if you could reproduce the graphics on RV's for a reasonable price you could become very very rich!
But where would you get all the templates and color info? Could you somehow copy what is already on a rig?
