RV wax that dries colored

Hello All,
DH is very fastidious about the care of our TC. He washes it after every trip and waxes it spring and fall.

Our TC is mostly white and he's having a hard time seeing the wax to remove it all because it dries white too. Does anyone know if a wax is made for fiberglass that dries somewhat colored?

It sure would make it easier to remove it all.

I don't know of a colored wax, but we've been fine with NuFinish. It leaves a faint white haze that can be seen and easily wiped off.
  • I get what you're asking, but a colored wax might stick in the nooks and crannies, leaving color behind. I think that's the intent of Turtle wax's colored products, making a red car appear a little rejuvenated by using red wax. That's not to say it wouldn't work for your purpose on a clean, smooth, scratch-free surface. I guess it'd be worth a test spot.
  • We're looking for a wax that dries with a bit of color to make it easier to see during removal AFTER application.

White on white is very hard on the eyes and is hard to see in shadows.

    Sorry I wasn't more explicit.

Not necessarily. I believe OP is looking for a wax that leaves a colored haze so you can see what you buffed and what you didn't vs a colored wax to hide scratches like the link.

I thought so too, at first, but since the wording specifically refers to removing the wax I thought/think O.P. is talking about surface prep for the new coat-?
