Sleep Number Versions

I was hoping someone who has purchased a sleep number for their RV could help me understand the differences in their mattresses.

This is what I found online:
C2 - Queen is $799 (Select Comfort Website)
C4 - Queen is $1399 (Select Comfort Website)
R5RV- Queen is $1639 (Camping World)

We have one in the house, P5 Queen, and I just don't understand why such a large price swing.

Specifically what makes the R5 RV so much more than a basic queen?

For what it's worth, we opted for the P5 residential version and have been using it for 5 months of full-time use.

Unless you need the longer hoses for the position of the pump vs. the head of the bed, the salesman couldn't tell me any specific difference of the "RV" versions (so long as you didn't need the short queen size or radiused corners).

I've been told, but never been able to verify that the RV version is made with slightly thicker plastic and heavier welded seams. All to avoid damage from pressure variations during altitude changes.

Some members have reported seam failures of residential mattresses if they forget to bleed the mattress before traveling in the mountains at higher altitudes.

It Murphy's law that you will sooner or later forget to bleed off some pressure. We live in mountain country and have forgotten several times, but never had a problem with the RV version we have.
