? Solution for Mud Daubers In/On A/C?

Got a tip here once to use a cat flea collar in the refrigerator outside compartment. Works wonderfully. Should also work in the a/c unit. I change it twice a year.

Used fiberglass insect screen on mine. Took the cover off...…..cut the screen to fit inside and a few dabs of silicone to hold it in place.

I bought some Hot Shot No-Pest Strip to try this year. I plan to put two strips in the housing. They work to keep paper wasps out of my shed so thought it was worth a try.

You can make your own screens out of hardware cloth similar to the ones for the furnaces and the water heater. Just make sure that they are pan shaped so they give more surface area for air to flow through that you will lose with screen wire. That's why the ones for the water heater and the furnace arer pan shaped so that you don't restrict are flow.
