Sonic Turbo as a Dinghy

Trying to replace a Malibu as a dinghy which was equipped with Demco baseplate and Aluminator Tow Bar. Wanted to keep same products as we consider replacing with 2015 Chevy Sonic Turbo but having conflicting info on doing that.
Demco does not have 2015 baseplate yet, let alone any for Turbo (which they say is configured differently than a regular Chevy Sonic).
Blue Ox and Roadmaster baseplates? What about tow bar, are there adaptors from Demco to whatever baseplate will work?
Anyone have this Turbo as a dinghy and how is it working?
Appreciate any input before we purchase the car. Car manual says an LT can be towed four down and this is an LT Turbo. It does not say a Turbo can't be towed four down.
Any feedback of experience or info would be appreciated. Thank you!

We tow a 2013 sonic turbo with the Roadmaster baseplate and tow bar without any problems. Have you thought about adapters so you can use your existing tow bar with a Roadmaster setup?

Thank you for your comments. That is helpful. Seems like a nice car to tow. Again, thank you!

We tow a 2012 Sonic (non-turbo), auto trans. It addresses "towing behind a motorhome" very specifically in the manual. Pull 1 fuse, turn the key to the 1st position, make sure in neutral and start the motor for a few minutes every fuel stop. I'm surprised that the turbo would make a difference but maybe it does. There is 1 model with different performance gearing that can not be towed so maybe that goes with the turbo? Its great to tow and only about 2700 lbs.

Yes, you are correct. That seems to be issue, at least using our Demco set up now that we are updating our dinghy.
If anyone is traveling with a Sonic or Sonic turbo, would love to know your experience with the car.
Thank you for your input.

Likely concern is does the turbo intercooler interfere with baseplate location. IC normally down low in front.
