I think many here get really tripped up when they see "2.7 liter" powered tow vehicle. That little motor is not as economical as one might expect, but it's bursting over with available HP/Torque. I wouldn't hesitate to tow that trailer with that truck.
My brother has a smallish camper on the back of his 2.7L F150, AND tows a 6000+ lb Trophy fishing boat. Truck does very well.
