This may sound harsh but 73 is not old and your medical problems can be held under control. Many folks have the same problems - and more. As full-timers we have met many such people. They, and we, too, have gone through cancer, dialysis, heart attacks, surgeries of all kinds, etc., and continue to be traveling full-timers and enjoying life. Recently we have met a very inspirational gentleman who lost his two legs. He still drives his RV and sets it up by himself.
Don't give up RVing just to sit on the porch. You're going to feel worse than you do now. The problems you listed can be helped by exercise. RVing gives you the opportunity to do just that in beautiful surroundings. Perhaps even consider becoming a campground host in a state park where you would have light duties and be able to meet and help fellow campers. It really is fun. We do that.
Get a "purpose". Have you tried volunteering in your home town? Many agencies really need you. Delivering Meals on Wheels? By doing that you could really see how fortunate you are. Do you enjoy children? Schools need "grandpas" to help the little ones with reading or just to read them a story. Do you have a hobby to share with people?
There are just so many opportunities out there to share your knowledge and help. Please don't just sit on the porch!! Good luck to you.
