Weather App

In another thread someone recommended downloading a Weather App to a Smart Phone. The Weather App that came with my smart phone has a terrible radar. You can not expand the radar picture on this app and the screen is so small you can't tell where the storm is.

What App do all of you recommend that has a good radar where I can expand the screen to make the picture bigger ?

That way I can see exactly where the storm is and not just the general part of the state where it is in.

Oh, and , I have never downloaded anything to my Smart Phone. How do you do that exactly ???

    X2, but I'd add the Wunderground app itself; it has the best weather widget I've seen so far (available from the pull down widgets that most folks don't know about). I use it more than the "Storm" app by wunderground.

    I use WeatherBug all the time but just downloaded an app suggested in FMCA mag "weather on wheels". You put in start and end location and date and it gives weather along path for those dates.

    Weather Underground, Radar US, and Weatherbug are my favorites. WU is best for localized temps. WB is good for its lightning tracker and I like RUS for the selections of how to filter the radar display.

    Well, I just tried that for fun. First I have to type the address in, then I get the the NWS site, then I have to type in the zip code for the area I'm in. A simple app I can (and did ) put on the front page (or whatever it's called ) of the phone is easier.
