If talking propane the Weber Q series can't be beat. I have cooked hundreds of meals on our BabyQ. Just the other day I laid it on the ground with the lid open and cast iron grate removed and blasted everything with the pressure washer. Let it bake in the sun for a while then hooked up and lit the first try. Owned it since 2005, the burner and cast iron grate is in excellent condition.
I dumped the regulator and hooked to RV quick connect.

I would like to do this with my Weber Q. How did you convert it to use with the RV supplied propane and what parts are needed. tks
Buy the length of propane hose you want with ends if possible i added mine. You will need one male quick connect with 1/4" make threads for BBQ along with a 1/8 male x 1/4 female fitting to screw directly into BBQ where regulator has been removed.
Pretty straight forward project. Another option take a copy of this pic to your local hardware/farm supply they can fix you up.
