It appears that this Class C driver paid a big price for their impatience!
Seems all five people in the Class C were taken to the hospital. If you watch closely you will see what appears to be a lady crawl out of the wreckage and start looking for others.

^^^It would be interesting to know if the truck was accelerating or decelerating and it's speed. Usually most people have to be seriously frustrated to make those types of moves.

It's 100% the class C's fault but I'm curious what led up to the class c driver make that move.

I've seen (in other places) comments that the Trucker should have done something.

What.. I mean who'd a thunk the idiot in the RV would change lanes too soon.
And short of spiking the brakes what could the Trucker have done? (And spiking the brakes on a semi is not all that recommended)

Sure he could have backed off the accelerator (and likely did) but the idiot in the RV was too fast for him to avoid.

What the Semi driver DID do was maintain control of his vehicle.. Though the relative size helps him.. I suspect he was still in need of a change of underwear. I know I would have been.

Ive seen this quite often, even more so in the last 10 years. people in just about every vehicle feel the need to do 80mph! Trucks and some RVs are the worst. I even had a tour bus loaded with people pass me at what I would assume was 80-85 (I was in the right lane locked in at 70!).

Not particularly relevant. Idiot sideswiped a semi and lost. Likely would have had a similar result at 60mph and your average MH is not crash worthy like a passenger vehicle or pickup.

Must have had cruise at 10 over for 80mph, it's been a couple years since I've been over that way. 70 mph is correct and trucks are 65mph.

Just saw that on another website. Either he didn't check his mirror or has no idea how long his unit is. Or, as stated above, was just impatient. He did come screaming up behind the other truck.

I also feel bad for the trucker. What amazed me most was the truck moved very little and the driver kept it under control. See this every day on so many different roads. Just yesterday we were stopped at a light that had a left hand turn lane. Light turned green, my husband started to go but checked the side mirror as he always does. Some jerk came flying up the turn lane, cut us off, almost hit the front of our vehicle and then went screaming down the road.

The only thing different between what I see almost daily and this vid is the moron was driving a class C and not a passenger vehicle. I see doofus's every day in 6AM bumper to bumper traffic moving at 40-50 mph driving like its the last lap at Daytona. Today you need to have eyes in the back of your head with the amount of idiots on the roads. When the light turns green, you had better look both ways before moving because chances are good 3 morons will be running the light.

I feel bad for the trucker, the Class C driver not so much.

First, at least (according to the news anchor) no one was seriously injured. Second, what in the world was the driver thinking?! To me, that looks like a kid that comes out immediately afterwards. Just incredible. Check your mirrors everyone! And please, don't drive like that, especially with children on board!
