- Artemus_GordonExplorerLike others on front slide wall facing front of RV. Can be seen when set up, protected from weather.

I would rather have a trailer that moved opposed to one that sat all time.
why? more moving, jostling, twisting of frame/walls/floor/ceiling.

That way you know that the RV was tried and true. Just sitting does nothing to test the worthiness of the RV.
lets see two situations. one you rent a seasonal spot and let the TT sit there for 4 months and use it every weekend and perhaps 2 or three weeks at a time, or two, you drag it back and forth every weekend bouncing down rutty roads etc. don't see any better test of the worthiness in option two myself. just wearing out bearings and tires.

You're assuming that the roads are all bumpy and rutty. Not necessarily true. Also I'm going to assume that sitting there no one is checking the tire pressure, lubing the axles and whatever other maintenance you need to do for over the road travel.
I'll take the RV that was on the road. I've seen too many semi permanent RV's that look like crap. - BumpyroadExplorer

bumpy - dodge_guyExplorer IIMine is on the streetside front bedroom window. it looks good and is easily removed if ever need be.
- noe-placeExplorerOur map is on the driver's side directly between the two slideouts. As for the person who said you needed a removeable map if you sold your rv, I take exception to the opinion. Right now I'd put my MH up against any Class C for condition and looks. We've only two states left to visit; Hawaii and Alaska. We're going to to Alaska next month for a week and unfortunately DW won't let me try and drive it to Hawaii.
- CeciltExplorerWho puts a sticker on if you just drove through a state but never overnighted?

Wife ordered a large beach towel with the states on it. She hangs it with suction cups on the window and marks our stops on it.
I don't particularly care for it, but like I said, the blinds are almost always down. - mosseaterExplorer IIOurs is the vinyl one with suction cups. It's stuck to the picture window at the dinette. Our criteria is only states we have taken the trailer to or through (I think?).
- Joe2222ExplorerWe mount ours on plexiglass and hang it on the side when we are in a spot for several days. We only put on the states we have visited in our RVs (past & present).
