Why assume I like your music

I think this is our last camping on Easter wknd or most any holiday. I'm sure this has been discussed often but I will never understand why ppl think everyone else likes their music. And please tell me why we have to open the car doors & turn it up full blast. Geez, never heard of a portable radio?

We try to travel and camp when it's not a holiday. Here is one for everyone my motorhome has a TV outside which I guess is good for tailgating but camping? It gets better not only do I have a TV outside but it has a Boise sound bar so you can hear it over at the next County.

There's a lot of comments about how horrid rap is, but there's good rap out there. Just like with every genre of music. You can listen to "Maria" and here someone whining Maria Maria Maria Maria over and over again - or you can listen to "Some Enchanted Evening". You can listen to "You're Having My Baby" (which has been labeled the worst song ever) - or you can listen to "Time in a Bottle".

For a great rap/hip hop song, check out Sunday Candy

It's not whether it's good or bad within its genre. Some people (me included) just don't like the whole package. It's a style of music that I simply don't like.

But that said, I don't even want to hear the music that I do like wafting through the campground. It could be my favorite song of all time and I would still feel peeved.

I really like my outside speakers. But my rule is; if I walk to the end of my camper and can still hear it, it's too loud. If I can hear it from more than 10 to 12 feet away, it's too loud.
Times fun when you're having flies!

Hearing a soprano through Klipsch speakers is enough to make your teeth hurt. Klipsch speakers are soon to be recognized by the World Court as weapons of mass destruction and their use banned as a crime against humanity.

I go camping on weekends for the loud music, loud kids, loud generators and loud intoxicated neighbors... isn't that what camping is all about? I will agree that the idea of having speakers on the outside of the camper is a lousy idea, the quality of the speakers are usually not so good and sound bad. So, to correct this put some Bose speakers on your table and hear some good music ๐Ÿ˜‰

And we are talking about noise. When I bring up the noisy generator that ruins my weekend, everybody says it's within the rules....I guess music is different.
The whole point of running a big, cheap, open-frame contractor generator is so that you can power your boombox without the hassle of buying a couple of "D" cell batteries. Of course, then you have to turn the boom box all the way up to 11 to drown out your 140 dB generator.

I don't go camping to listen to music, mine or anyone else's. I play it when driving to the campground, but when I turn into the lot, I turn off the music.

Musically, I'm a product of the 60's and 70's, and I like my rock music fairly loud, so I confine it to when I'm in the truck by myself (wife doesn't like as much volume as I do when something like Highway Star or Space Truckin' comes on. Some songs just need to have some "drive", but I don't inflict them on anyone else, and certainly not when camping.

....:B hehehehe...

Most of my family has roots in the Caribbean ('cept some of the unfortunate besotted souls we marry) and for the BWI diss-a-thon we have every holiday get together we allow the Bermudians to join in as well.

Longstanding jibe is to ask them to dance to bagpipe music whilst wearing dress shorts.

Already did. The OP of that post replied to me with a very childish and insulting retort.

I always wanted to design a high power electromagnet directional pulse generator that you could point directly at the source of the noise, activate it and generate a pulse which would blow their speakers... sounds fun!
