I have a 2" shank on my Equalizer WD hitch. The sleeve is starting to warp. You can't really see it but its becoming quite difficult to pull out of the hitch when I need to.
We're selling the Work & Play. But if for some crazy reason we use the camper again for next year, I will be getting a new 2.5" shank.
