Well, if you enjoy eating out, check out the Adobe Inn...great food, great view, great service......a little expensive, but worth it. In-between Florence and Yachats is a real nice rv park called Winchester Bay.
We did visit a farmers mkt there last month...don't know if it is a regularly scheduled event or not. Actually, it was more of a swap meet.
As you head north and pass through Newport, wave and say howdy!

Hmmmmmm Ron (a Newport, OR resident?)..:@
Winchester bay is *NOT* "in-between" Florence and Yachats.
Winchester Bay is South of Florence.
Yachats is North of Florence.

Winchester Bay RV Resort
The RV park is Expensive - but very nice.
However, there are other less expensive options (without the amenities) available.

Mornin Ron .. Dw & I will be in your area the 1st part of Sept for a few days then spend a week or so working our way up the coast into the Sequim Washington area and finally end up on San Juan Island for a week or 10 days visiting DD. Then back down the coast again. - lanerdExplorer II

I can't believe it. A question about Oregon with 10 replies and nobody said anything about Moe's for chowder. If you spend much time in central Cali you know that the only places to get good chowder is Morro Bay and Pismo Beach.lol
Enjoy your trip.

Actually, we have found that the chowder at the Chowder Bowl on Nye Beach in Newport is superior to Mo's (not Moe's, by the way). Of course, taste is a individual thing....
Ron - zekegbExplorerOregon coast is wonderful with lots of opportunities. Our family will be camping in the area next month at Tillicum Beach. Area you are seeking info is really between Florence and Newport.
Camping
Washborne State Park - one of the few on the coast that is first come basis.
Beachside State Park - right on the beach, closed in winter due to high tides and storms.
Tillicum Beach is USFS park, but very nice.
Sea Perch is private park right on beach
Cape Perpetua is USFS and right below visitor center on small steam
Rock Creek is USFS beside small creek
Waldport has KOA
Things to do in area
Florence has nice waterfront on Siuslaw River. Sand dunes galore.
Don't miss little Darlongtonia State Park on north end of Florence with insect eating plants.
Sea Lion Caves - large sea cave with lots of sea lions
Cape Perpetua - visitor center, tide pools, hiking trails
Yachats has beaches and new state park on small river east of town.
Newport has waterfront, aquarium, Nye Beach area, deep sea fishing charters, Hatfield Marine Science Center
Places to eat
Florence - Mo's for chowder (not the best on the coast but everyone has their favorite)
Yachats - Blue Whale, Adobe (my favorite), and some others
Enjoy the coast. - jackandh2oExplorerI can't believe it. A question about Oregon with 10 replies and nobody said anything about Moe's for chowder. If you spend much time in central Cali you know that the only places to get good chowder is Morro Bay and Pismo Beach.lol

If you blink you may miss Yachats. We stayed in Floence near the beach then up to Lincoln City and Tillamook. Beautiful area up the coast. We were there in June. Good road up the coast. I thought groceries were very expensive along the OR coast. - AlternExplorerPlease remember: The pronunciation sounds more like ya-hots - not yack its
