Breed Discrimination?
Who has run into it, where and what breeds? Looking for a new buddyI like the German Shepherd but have to look at a mix with "they say" lab and american bull dog. More turmoil.

Its funny that my dogs picture suddenly starts getting quoted again this weekend when it was this weekend where I had a group at a campsite near me just fall in love with Gus (I get that a lot) and they all had to come out and pet him as soon as they seen he was friendly to the first brave soul to walk up and start petting him. I just told them not to all rush at once or he could feel trapped and not like it very much. Everyone took turns and just couldn't believe how much of a big baby he was. All of a sudden I see one coming back with a yapping little Boston Terrier. " Oh this little guy wants to visit too" I respectfully declined stating that he loves people and cats but I don't like to take chances with strange dogs. They were understanding and thought it best to not take the chance as well as they would obviously ended up with the biggest loss if it didnt go well.
I try my hardest to properly educate the general public about Rottweilers since the media gives them such a bad rap. It was also nice to mention the Dalmatian as not being quite a nice as the firemen make them out to be. They are good family dogs but not people friendly. I have had quite a few run ins with them over the years and I have never once seen one that was friendly to outsiders.
