Question on Freeze Alarm/Cobra PhoneLynx Temperature Sensor

To protect our cats and dog in the RV, we have just purchased a Control Products Freeze Alarm and Cobra PhoneLynx to attach the system to a spare cell phone via bluetooth. According to the literatur...

Oh in case anyone is still watching this thread, I finally purchased a dedicated phone for my alarm. Its from Page Plus Cellular...they have a 100 minute plan for 10 bucks that is good for 4 months....so 30 bucks a year covers the cost and its on the Verizon towers to boot.
