12 v problem

12v side seems to have shut down, recent inspection over a few days, currently hooked up to shore power and in temp storage, noted low battery on indicator board and very dim lights (LED's) and next day nothing.
new battery checks out at 12.7 V and charging line/power at battery is also 12.7V. all fused are OK. this may be simple.... i hope.
any assistance appreciated.
thanks in advance for your replies.

  • You could have a tripped 120 volt circuit breaker or a tripped GFCI receptacle that feeds the converter.
Could have a blown reverse polarity fuse setup in the converter depending on make and model of the converter.
  • Disconnect the battery and check the voltage from the converter. I suspect it will be zero. Indicating a failed conveter or no voltage feeding the converter.
  • By your post it appears that the battery is not being charged. The charging line should be higher than 12.7 volts. I would check the charging system and see if it is connected and working. JMO
