1997 Bounder ford f53 class a wont shift or start.

Hello i have a 34' 1997 bounder with the ford chassis V8 AND THE E40D TRANSMISSION. I went to go get propane and when I went to leave the rv started but wouldnt go into gear. I turned off the ignition...

Thanks for coming back with the resolution. That ol 460 starter is normally pretty durable. I have the original starter on my 95 F53, starting a 528 stroker engine. Just waiting for it to time out.
