2016 Arctic Fox shower enclosure

Net greetings,

We have had our Arctic Fox 25W for about a year. We've been very happy with it in general, but have had a couple things we wanted to see what folks thought about.

Ones is about our shower enclosure. One of the panels is not up against the white plastic surround. It looks like it is right to the wallboard. And then down in the bath tray, you can basically see wall between the glass panel frame and the tray. It is sealed very well.

My question is... should we work to adjust the enclosure so that it seals to the surround or is that inviting more trouble than it's worth? If we leave as-is, we will just inspect the sealant regularly. I hope to attach pictures.

Thanks,
-CachingAFox

Edit: Below is the inside pic, one view:

Here is a closer view:

And here is the other side of it showing how it is adjoining the wall and not the plastic surround:

Yep, your markings are correct.

Thankfully our diverter has been fine. We have replaced our shower head after the original cracked during the winter. We like the new one better anyways, though.

There are a couple other issues but will start other threads for them.
Thanks,
-John

(In my opinion only)...If your talking about where I put some black marks on this pic, the gap between gap and end of enclosure...I wouldn't worry about it. Trim work could be better cut though. I had a very small leak in mine at other corner. Arctic Fox dealer said one of the few places where 100% silicone should be OK to use.

Another subject for the shower...Twice our diverter stem/plug, (the thing you pull to have the water go up to shower head) fell off. Sort of a puzzle to fix at first. Anyway, it now has thread "lock-tite" on the couple threads it has, and no more problems so far (over a year of full timing).

Shower is one place where leaks should be easy to see. Also to clean in the little cracks back there I got a shot gun cleaning rod to fit. Maybe there is something better but that's what I've found best so far.

Any other problems???

We replaced most of our cabinets screws and couple other odds and ends. Besides that no problems.

Yes, attach some pic's. We have the same model (2013) and can't visualize the problem the way you state in your posting.

Our shower unit is from Shower Enclosure America. Found this link on Heartlands web site when I was "collecting" all the info I could for "my personal" owners manual. Maybe it Might help???
