That is a SET of t-stats for a Suburban Water Heater
Normal temp t-stat (130*F) and a High temp t-stat (170*) and are 120VAC

Ignition and refer control modules(OEM) are just as good as Dinosaur. YEARS ago(mid 90's and older) The control boards did have problems and Dinosaur came in and filled the gap. I also will not use aftermarket Refer Cooling units, unless the customer signs a waiver understanding that if that aftermarket CU fails to perform, HE pays diag labor time and another labor to replace the replacement CU. The Aftermarket CU makers usually give a token $100 labor to replace a CU under their warranty. Norcold and Dometic warranty the OEM CU and will pay full labor to replace a CU under warranty. AND, you can go to any Norcold/Dometic service center to get this warranty honored. Aftermarket CU and you are not even close to the original shop, you are stuck. Doug

Fairly easy on some parts to put in manufacturer number and get them.
Take circuit boards for example. Dinosauer Electronics boards are far better quality then Dometic.

I still don't understand your point. WHY waste your time trying to find the Emerson P/N and then trying to get the exact correct part when you just go to Atwood/Dometic and get the correct part for your exact model number???????????????????? Granted, you can go to Grainger and find some parts but that does not really save you much time and money. Doug

Atwood I doubt manufacture their own parts. They sub it out.
Numbers are most electrical industry components are the actual manufacturers.
Emerson is a major manufacturer of snap disc devices.

I don't have the number of the one in there now and no plans to take it out again and look! It is the one that was there when we got the MH and came with the 8531-ll that is still in there, except for some burner side parts from the lll now, and a lll's circuit board.

The LS that came out of the lll I got from a guy to use for spare parts says on the edge of the shiny end: 1NT01L190F-2D 9448 M, and on the brown end it says: Elison ? not sure-hard to read and a US Pat number.

I remember the other one had a different set of numbers around the shiny part, but not what they were. ISTR it was 8xxx instead of that 9448, not sure. They look identical and both have the same size terminals (4 is stamped on those on the one I have out)

BTW that was a good tip to hold the burner fan end and twist off the ll's squirrel cage to get it loose! I never would have got that loose otherwise. The lll's uses a clamp instead of the set screw to hold it on and it came off easier. Whatever--I hope I am done with that!

The numbers are Atwood numbers and not manufacturer numbers.
