AC slightly tilted

My FW has a rounded roof, and the draining water from the AC has always run down by the door. I had the shroud off, doing some cleaning, and could clearly see the drain spout on the driver's side of the AC tray.

I measured from the bottom pan of AC, to roof, on both sides. The door side is about 1/4" closer, which tells me why the water runs out the wrong side.

The AC works great, and the gasket seals well. My question is, should I loosen the mounting screws, on the door side, and tighten the ones on the driver's side? I'm thinking this would make the AC water exit out the proper drain, and run off the other side, away from the door.

My only worry is gasket leakage, from tilting the AC the other way. Should I just leave well enough alone, no leaks now, just a nuisance draining by the door?

Thanks for your reply Old-Biscuit! I am from the old school, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! I was hoping to hear from a knowledgeable person, to tell me go ahead, adjust it. I was happy to see you were the poster! I know my problem was not serious, but I like to have things work as they are designed.

I will be camped at 5,600' for a couple weeks, so probably won't run the AC much. I'm sure there will be rain/thunderstorms, on and off, thus my concern about creating any leaks by adjusting.

A/C hold down bolts should be 'snug'....so snug up drivers side a little more than passenger side. Just don't crush roof gasket

Gasket is 1" new and gets compressed to roughly 1/2" so there is room to 'adjust'
Is it time for your medication or mine?
