Adding Gas Line....Question???

I have a Coleman Roadtrip XL gas grill that I take camping. I bought a kit that removes the regulator so I can use it on the low pressure side of my trailers gas system. I have a propane quick disconnect with a shut-off and an 8' hose to go to the grill.

Under the trailer, right where I want the grill connection I have this assembly:

Can I simply "T" into one of these and run a piece of hose to where I want to locate the quick connect?

What do I need to use to go from the "T" to the quick connect? Rubber hose? Soft Copper? Flex hose like hooking up a gas stove in a house?

Any advise would be appreciated.......

Don't want the new nickname of "BOOMER"........:B

If I use soft copper I will need to buy a double flair tool. I only have a single flair tool. Or I will need to hire out the work. I tried to remove the brass plug in the T in the photograph. But it would not budge . I wonder if applying a little heat would help. After purging the line of coarse.

The single flair will be fine for a gas line.

I'd suggest to use soft copper between a new "T" and the location of your quick connect. There is no savings by using a hose and the copper should be a more durable connection.

Ok this is the way I would do it remove the brass tee and add another tee with a short nipple in black pipe (used for gas) replace brass tee that was removed this will give the other port to run the other new gas line from, plus all other fittings needed to run new line in soft copper the length needed reach where to the quick disconnect will be mounted.

And don't forget to use pipe dope or tape(for gas) on the pipe fittings and do a pressure test.

That's what I would think, but the connection from the tanks to the hard pipe is rubber. And from the connectors up through the floor to the stove, heater and refrigerator is soft copper and exposed to the elements and road debris. I would imagine most trailers are plumbed the same way?

Under the TT where road debris can get it it should be pipe.
