Another inverter/transfer switch question.

Residential refrigerator installation and I want to install inverter/transfer switch to power the refrigerator while we are between parks. So I run wire from my refrigerator breaker in main panel to switch and inverter to switch. From switch to refrigerator receptacle. Do I have to do anything special with the converter?
  • No. You only have to do something about the converter/charger if you power the whole RV from the inverter. Since you are only powering the refrigerator circuit, absolutely nothing else is needed.
  • Nothing will change with the converter or anything else.
Only the fridge gets inverter power since all this is isolated after the breaker panel.

Unlike the 12 volt system... 120v only flows one direction for safety reasons.
