Atwood gas furnace

We have a Brand new park model with an Atwood gas furnace
Tonight before we left the campground I tried to turn on the furnace and the fan(blower) would turn on and off over and over, but would not ignite. I did not hear the usual clicking as I did before. The fan after turning on and off a few times would trip the GFI circuit. I reset the circuit and tried again but same thing happened.
When I look at the circuit board in the furnace, it has a red light that stays on.
What could be the problem
Thank you
Barry
  • Model of Furnace???

Fan on/off over and over suggests issue with 'Blower' circuit on furnace circuit board
    OR issue with thermostat

DC Voltage is at furnace waiting for dc signal from thermostat ....when received the FAN starts/purges and makes up sail switch to allow DC to 'Power circuit'

    Model of furnace??

Is the propane on? Did you purge the lines?
  • You should seek and download the user manual for whatever furnace model you have. They all contain very helpful troubleshooting procedures. Is this an RV or a house you have? I am curious what your GFI has to do with the furnace. Every RV furnace I have seen runs totally on 12VDC and has nothing to do with 120VAC......
